Plagiarism Policy

Authors are kindly reminded that plagiarized papers will not be considered for acceptance at FIST-2027. To ensure the originality of content, the FIST team will conduct plagiarism and similarity checks on all submitted papers using the Turnitin tool. Authors are strongly encouraged to use plagiarism detection tools such as Turnitin, iThenticate, Viper, PlagScan, etc., to assess the plagiarism level of their manuscripts before submission. Authors may also submit the originality report generated by these tools along with their paper submission. This precautionary measure is in the best interest of authors to uphold academic integrity and ensure the credibility of their submissions.

The conference follows a rigorous two-round review process:

  • First Round: Papers will be evaluated on technical relevance, scope, and originality to ensure suitability.
  • Second Round: Selected submissions will undergo a double-blind review by three experts, assessing originality, novelty, clarity, completeness, relevance, significance, and research contribution.

The final decision on paper acceptance will be based on the feedback from the second review round.
